Venkatadri takes on Congress, TRS for cheating people

Gadwal: Taking on both congress and TRS parties for deceiving the people with their false promises and cheating them after coming to power Venkatadri, BJP MLA contestant from Gadwal urged the people of Gadwal to support BJP for a change. 

While talking at a press meet in Gadwal Venkatadri said during 70 years of Independence congress party has imposed family rule and resorted to various corrupt activities in the name of welfare schemes.

“During 70 years of Congress rule, the people of the country had witnessed darkness and were looted in the name of welfare and development programmes. However after BJP took to office it is delivering corrupt free governance and had succeeded in providing electricity to each and every village in the country,” said Venkatadri. 

Taking a dig at KCR’s TRS party in Telangana Venkatadri said that the TRS government had miserably in keeping its promises. He said though the party had promised to provide double bed room houses, except at one or two places nowhere did the party constructed double bedroom houses for the poor. 

He said Telangana which was a surplus state when newly formed had now turned out to be a debt ridden state. Revealing statistics that the TRS government had taken up welfare programmes costing Rs. 90,000 crores but it is claiming to have spent Rs. 1.5 lakh crores.

He questioned where have Rs. 60,000 crores gone. Venkatadri said that leaders during past governments never bothered for the welfare and development of Gadwal people. He questioned the silence of congress leaders when the degree and PG centres from the district were shifted to some other places.

He said if Gadwal people are to be developed focus must be given to 3 vital sectors of Education, Industries and Irrigation. If he comes to power, he will ensure all these three sectors be developed and bring prosperity for Gadwal people.
