KCR scared of Kutami, claims L Ramana
Quthbullapur: Telangana TDP president L Ramana, along with Quthbullapur party in-charge Burugubhavi Hanumanth Rao and State women’s chief Shobharani held a constituency review meeting here on Thursday. The party activists present at the meet called for Hanumantha Rao to be chosen as candidate of the ‘Maha Kutami’. Addressing the meeting, Rao pointed out that the TDP winner in 2014, K P Vivekanand had let down the party by defecting to the TRS. ‘Because of which it has become difficult for the party to seek votes in the constituency,’ he told the leadership.
In his address, Ramana claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was resorting to criticism out of scare having realised that the TRS would be defeated in view of the formation of the ‘Maha Kutami’ and that people were unwilling to vote for the ruling party. He objected to ridiculing of TJS chief Prof Kodandaram of not being able to get elected even as gram sarpanch. Ramana asserted that the Maha Kutami would crush the TRS and create a big impact across the country. The TTDP chief described TRS as a ‘dorala’ party, while accusing KCR’s family members of having looted the State. Ramana caused a sensation by claiming that KCR had offered him money, but he had refused. He pledged to remain with the TDP till his death.
Among those present at the meeting were T - TDP mahila president Ondru Sobha Rani, T - TDP Medchal president Ashok Goud, constituency leaders SV Krishna Reddy, Syed Rasheed, Ram Mohan, Murali Goud, Sai Tulasi, Narasimha Reddy, Pala Krishna, Rajitha, Ratnam, Pandari Gnaneshwar, Atluri Rajesh, Musa Khan, Das, Prabhu Das, Veera Babu, Yadi Reddy, Lokesh, Ajay, Jaggu Chowdary, Shyam Goud, Krishna, Venkat Mudhiraj and party activists in large numbers took part in the meet.
