Mobile thieves gang busted; four held

Patancheru: Mobile stealing gang was arrested by Patancheru Police on Thursday and seized 16 mobiles from them. The gang targets lonely women and youth talking on mobiles and grabs mobiles from them.  Speaking to the media, DSP Rajeshwar Rao said that it has come to notice that some thieves were targeting lonely people who are speaking on their mobiles, grab the phone and flee from the scene. 

Police set a trap to nab the four member gang, Vaddera Mallesh, leader of the gang, and three members D Sailu, V Venkatesham, and S Saikiran Reddy. They were sent to remand after seizing 16 expensive mobiles from them, he said. He advised people who use expensive mobiles to use digital lock.
