Musheerabad: Telangana PCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar ridiculed the caretaker home minister, Naini Narsimha Reddy and rhetorically asked him to retire from politics as he failed to get the party ticket for him and his son-in-law. Even though being an incumbent MLA of the constituency and a home minister, it was pathetic that Naini could not influence his party supremo in getting a single ticket, Ponnam added. He was speaking at ‘Intintiki Padayatra’ programme organized by Greater Hyderbad Congress committee president Anjan Kumar Yadav at Musheerabad on Friday.

Ponnam also criticized BJP state president Dr K Lakshman by saying that he had no moral right to seek votes as he had failed to develop the constituency. He held BJP government at the Centre responsible for the rising fuel prices. Criticizing the State government, TPCC working president said that KCR has done nothing for the city and people have been facing a lot of inconvenience due to several issues. He exuded confidence that Congress would win all the seats in the twin cities.

Prominent among those participated in the programme included former Congress MP Madhu Yashki Goud, youth Congress president Anil Kumar Yadav, Nagesh Mudhiraj, Jagadish, former corporator Kalpana Yadav, Wajid Hussain and DV Venkata Swami.
