Awareness drive on use of EVMs

Dundigal: The revenue department officials on Sunday conducted an awareness programme on the use of EVM machines at the bus stop in Bourampet village of Quthbullapur constituency. Local Mandal Revenue Officer Mallayya and VRO Ramesh demonstrated how to use EVMs to the villagers with a view to increase the voting percentage. Mallayya, who is also the assistant returning officer, visited the village, along with his office staff. They showed how the voters could also secure receipts.
