Irate farmers block Mahender’s convoy

Tandur: Irked by the non-functioning of green gram purchase centre for the past four days, farmers blocked the convoy of caretaker Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy here on Monday. With minister assuring to resolve the issue within two days, the farmers withdrew their protest and said that the officials declared that they would purchase the green gram but rejected to purchase the green gram stored in godown.
