Offering help, bikers snatch away gold chain

Athmakur ( M) (Yadadri-Bhongir): Two unidentified offenders on motorcycle snatched away four tolas gold chain from an aged woman and sped away. This incident took place at Sarvepally village of Athmakur (M ) mandal in the district on Monday evening.

According to police, the elderly woman Kadakanchi Beeramma of Sarveypally was heading towards the village from the main road. Meanwhile, the offenders on bike came from and stopped the vehicle near to her and said  they are ready to help her to drop at the village and  all of sudden, the offenders attacked her and snatched away the golden chain while  she rejecting their proposal and sped away from the spot. 

The value of the snatched golden chain is  Rs 1.20 lakh. Athmakur (M) SI Kanakati Yadagiri filed registered a complaint and took up investigation.
