Rich Telangana made a debt-laden state: Congress
Hyderabad: The rich state of Telangana has been transformed into a debt-laden state, alleged Patancheru Congress leaders G Anji Reddy, Sapan Dev, ZPTC Prabhakar, corporator Shanker Yadav, Kolan Bal Reddy and others. They were speaking at a press conference at Patancheru on Monday. Anji Reddy said that a meeting of Patancheru constituency party activists will be held on October 31 and urged all Congress party workers of the constituency to attend the meeting. Criticising caretaker CM KCR, they said TRS has failed to develop the state.
Ridiculing the KCR’s claim that he brought Telangana, Congress leaders said that the credit of winning statehood should go to their leader Sonia Gandhi. They alleged that TRS has been pumping Rs 20 crore for each constituency and making a mockery of democracy. KCR has deceived people by not fulfilling his promise and has no right to seek votes, they said. Gali Anil Kumar said that KCR will get the credit of transforming the state into a debt-laden state. He urged people to teach KCR a lesson by voting him out and put an end to his autocratic rule. Among those present on the occasion include Shashikala Yadav Reddy, TPCC secretary Mathin, N Madhu, Shyam Rao and other Congress leaders.
