HMDA Commissioner Dr B Janaradhan Reddy inspects parks
Hyderabad: HMDA commissioner Dr B Janaradhan Reddy made a sudden inspection of Sanjeevaiah park, Science park and medicinal plants parks on Wednesday. During the inspection, he ordered officials to conduct extensive publicity campaigns promoting the parks among school students. He ordered them to encourage the students of government schools to visit these parks.
The Commissioner ordered the officials to send the information to education development officers in this regard. HMDA built the medicinal park in 2.75 acres and has 314 different kinds of medicinal plants. He said that the park can bring awareness about plants among school children. Expressing his satisfaction on maintenance of the park, he ordered them to plant new varieties of flower plants in Sanjeevaiah park and make it more attractive to visitors. Commissioner was accompanied by HMDA urban forest director Srinivas, HMDA secretary Ramkishan, chief engineer BLN Reddy and other officials.
