KTR dubs GA as Mayakutami
Hyderabad: TRS leader KT Rama Rao called upon the people of the state to think and vote in the coming elections as these votes would decide the future of the state. Rama Rao spent a busy day on Wednesday campaigning in Gambhiraopet mandal in Sircilla constituency from where he is contesting in the upcoming elections. Rama Rao said that the people should be wary of ‘Mayakutami’ which has nurtured a conspiracy to stall the progress and development in the infant State. He exhorted the people to defeat the Telangana traitors Congress and Telugu Desam for joining hands and trying to stall growth.
Attacking the Congress, he said, “TRS government gave uninterrupted power supply after coming to power. But, a vote for the Congress party will bring dark days back into the state.” Rao reminded the villagers that Telangana was the only state in the country which provided uninterrupted power supply to the agriculture sector. “On one hand Congress files cases on irrigation projects in the state and on the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu writes letters to the Centre asking them not to give permission for irrigation projects in Telangana.
How can Congress- TDP alliance do good to Telangana when they want to stop the development works in the state. Think and vote in the coming elections, as these votes will decide the future of the state,” he said.
Rao said that Sircilla constituency was fast developing. “Earlier there were only 8,000-tonne capacity godowns in Sircilla but we constructed 50,000-tonne capacity godowns in various villages,” he said.
Rao mentioned that agriculture had been the top priority of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao during the past four-and-a-half years. TRS government introduced Rythu Bandhu scheme and Rs 5 lakh insurance, to help farmers, he said.
No government in the past had bothered about the plight of farmers and the farming sector but Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was taking all possible measures to rescue the farmers from distress, he said. “In the entire country, KCR is the only leader who is giving investment support to farmers. He wants to do more for the agriculture sector in the state.
If TRS comes to power, CM KCR as promised will increase the Rythu Bandhu investment amount from Rs 8,000 per acre per year to Rs 10,000 per acre per year,” he added. Rama Rao visited Dammannapet, Nagampet, Mallupally, Samudra Lingapur, Gajasinghavaram and Gorantyal villages of the mandal and addressed the villagers.
