Warangal: Model toilets to come up in the tri-cities of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet, Warangal Urban District Collector Prashnth Jeevan Patil said. The Collector, who dwelt at length with the Municipal Commissioner VP Goutham and the representatives of the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) here on Wednesday, said that efforts are on to set up model toilets at all arterial junctions and public places in the city.
The administration will take the support of ‘Mad(e) in Mumbai Architecture’ for constructing these toilets, he added. The officials observed several models, designed by Mayuri Sisodia, Director of Mad(e) in Mumbai that are in use in Jaipur and Jodhpur cities.
Sisodia said that these designs have become popular in Jaipur and Jodhpur. These model toilets are convenient as they are constructed underground. Sisodia also explained about the models suitable for bus stations, pavements, parks etc.
