Vigilance Awareness Lecture at MANUU

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University is conducting Vigilance Awareness week from October 29 to November 3, 2018 through the NSS-Cell with the theme “Eradicate corruption-To build a corruption free India” as per the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission.
 
A lecture by K Subhash, Deputy Director (Vigilance), Employees Provident Fund Organisation, New Delhi was organized today as part of the campaign. Prof. P F Rahman, MANUU’s Vigilance Officer, presided over.
 
Subhash in his power point presentation gave a broad understanding about the campaign and the need to eradicate corruption. The commission has, therefore been advising all organizations/departments to identify and implement effective preventive measures to fight corruption and to enhance transparency and accountability in their functioning, he said while referring to the central vigilance commission’s directive.
 
Dr. M.A Sikandar, Registrar MANUU in his welcome address spoke about the importance of Vigilance awareness week and advised the students and faculty to act to eradicate corruption by taking brave steps with a little bit of risk. On the occasion vigilance pledge was also administered to the participant.
 
Program ended with question and answer session.
 
NSS Coordinator Dr. Mohommed Fariyad, NSS University’s officials Dr. Md. Afroz Alam, Bikhsha Pati and other faculty and students were present.
