Muslims’ meet vows support to TRS

Patancheru: A Muslim minority meeting was held in support of Patancheru TRS candidate Gudem Mahipal Reddy at GMR Convention Center, here on Thursday. Former minister and MLC MD Fariduddin who attended the meeting as chief guest was felicitated on the occasion. Around 6,000 Muslims from various mandals and towns attended the meeting, out of which around 2,000 were women participants. Separate arrangements were made for women at the center. 

On the occasion, the TRS candidate released brochures explaining various welfare and development schemes and works done by TRS government for Muslims. Speaking on the occasion, former minister said that TRS party has given priority to Muslim minority in its four-year rule. Earlier, a rally of 500 bikes was taken out under the leadership of youth leader Meraz Khan from Muthangi ORR junction to the GMR Convention Center. Among those participated in the meeting included former MLA K Sathyanarayana, T-News editor Khayyum Anwar, minority leaders Md Liyakat Ali, member Md Asif, Md Azeemuddin, Gouse, Yousuf, Alibaba, Sattar, Nawaz Abid, Younus, Shoukath, TRS leaders T Rajender Singh, Shanker and others.
