Tribal festivities enrapture visitors

The on-going events of National tribal festival, ‘Aadi Mahotsav’ at the premises of Shilparamam emerge as a visual treat for audience. Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation Limited (TRIFED), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India has been organising a 10-day festival, with an objective to provide a platform for tribal people of India to showcase their products. The platform also helps to provide interaction of tribal with the mainstream designers.

Handicrafts, paintings and food items of tribal people were on display at over 100 stalls in the premises of Shilparamam. The cultural events at the Amphitheatre premises organised by TRIFED, along with South Zone Cultural Centre, has been attracting cultural lovers. Wednesday’s cultural events by tribal from Orissa and Tamil Nadu mesmerised the audience.
