Make KCR CM for next 10 yrs to keep Telangana booming
Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Friday said that if people wanted the speed of the development process to continue, they should ensure K Chandrashekar Rao is made Chief Minister for next 10 years in the State.
The Minister was speaking to a gathering at Telangana Bhavan, where leaders from Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and other parties from Medak joined the TRS. Harish Rao said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s leadership was needed if Medak district needed to be made fertile, and the people should vote for KCR and make the Chief Minister for another 10 years. He said that the government would make the Medak district fertile by completing irrigation projects.
The TRS leader lashed out at Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu stating that he was deceiving people of Telangana. “Every student, who committed suicide, wrote letters stating that the TDP chief was responsible for delay in formation of Telangana,” Harish said, adding that Naidu does not like people of Telangana.
The TDP leader has written letters to the Centre demanding stopping of Kaleshwaram, Sitarama and Palamuru projects. “Naidu is the one who is objecting to the division of High Court. Further, he is not handing over the buildings which were vacated by the Andhra Pradesh government,” Harish alleged.
Stating that there was no BJP in the State, Harish said the BJP has turned into a party of realtors and capitalists. “BJP leaders like Amit Shah and Swamy Paripoornananda were stating that their party would come to power with 70 seats. But if they look back, their party is getting empty with several leaders leaving it,” Harish mocked.
He called upon the BJP leaders, who joined TRS, to visit every house and convince the other BJP leaders to vote for TRS in the coming elections and added that all the seats in Medak would be in favour of TRS. Harish said that not even a single promise was implemented by the Congress but the TRS implemented schemes which were not even mentioned in party’s manifesto.
