Power Grid observes vigilance week

Secunderabad: PowerGrid Corporation Southern Region Transmission System-I, RHQ, Secunderabad, successfully completed the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week–2018.’ It has reached out to around 15,000 students across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by collaborating with 65 educational institutions. During this week-long celebrations, various competitions like debate, essay-writing, painting, elocution, and slogan competitions were conducted. Gram sabhas were also organised at in villages. 

Gayatri Ramachandran attended the conclusion of celebrations at Power Grid RHQ on Friday, Addressing a meeting, she said, “vigilance should be the way of life. One should be vigilant in performing his official duty and should maintain integrity, commitment, high standards and ethical values in life.” V Sekhar, ED (SRTS-I) said PowerGrid was committed to be socially responsible while executing various projects. At the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions held internally for employees. Senior officials, family members of the employees were present on this occasion.
