Round-table held on Musheerabad issues

Musheerabad: A round-table meeting was organised by Thummala Praful Ram Reddy Sena on “Development of Musheerabad and solutions” at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram, Baghlingampally on Friday. Speaking at the meeting, chairman of the Sena, Padmaja highlighted various problems faced by people of Musheerabad. Being a low-lying area, the area suffers from drainage overflow issues because of open nalas, she said. 

She said that this problem was very acute in most of the divisions. People of Bholakpur and Kavadiguda divisions face contaminated drinking water issue due to leather and plastic industries, Padmaja added.  Other speakers pointed out roads in the constituency were in very bad condition and needed repairs at the earliest. 

Some members expressed concern on vacating double-bed room house beneficiaries from their houses before construction of the houses. They said that it was difficult for poor people to pay rent for long. Among those participated in the meeting were Praful Ram Reddy, Ashok, Karuna, Srinivas, Ramchander, Kala Jyothi, Kavitha P Rao and others.
