Muslims behind TRS, claims Mahmood Ali
Hyderabad: Caretaker Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali said the Muslim minorities are solidly behind the TRS and would help KCR to retain power. Addressing a Muslim Minority Garjana Sabha, Ali said TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao offered deputy chief minister post to a candidate from minority community. He said the TRS regime has also been offering financial support under overseas scholarship scheme to Muslim students to pursue higher education in foreign countries. KCR regime has started residential schools for Muslims for their development to get jobs for better lives, he said. In turn, the Muslims should vote for the KCR leadership en masse, he said.
Irrigation Minister Harish Rao said Gajwel was witnessing a rapid growth under KCR rule and that upon coming to power the TRS would provide two bedroom houses to Muslims. Development of Gajwel would be stalled if the Congress-led grand alliance was voted to power, he cautioned. Several welfare programs have been launched for the cause of the poor families by giving about Rs 1.12 lakh for girl marriages. He appealed to the people to give one lakh vote majority to KCR for him to remain as the Chief Minister.
