Serilingampally: After taking out a successful bike rally here on Sunday, TDP leader Venigalla Anand Prasad claimed that it had enthused the party activists which was an indication of success in the ensuing Assembly elections. Anand told a press conference at the party office that the rally was a TDP programme and that he was hoping to be the party candidate from Serilingampally. He claimed that the small impediments in his family would be overcome, while describing them as natural. However, Anand stated that all would unitedly support anyone named by the party leadership.

The TDP leader listed traffic jams, roads full of potholes, drainage, encroachments of tanks, garbage dump yards, demand for house-sites, house numbers, double bedroom houses as issues facing the residents. Anand stated that he had come forward to pose question even though he was not a pro-active activist. He described party chief N Chandrababu Naidu as a symbol of trust. The party, he pointed out, would take a suitable decision to render justice when needed. Among those present were former corporators Bhanu Prasad and Ranga Rao.
