Books make man wiser, improve thinking ability

Mahbubnagar: Nava Chetana book exhibition was inaugurated by District Education officer Somi Reddy on Monday.  While speaking on the occasion, the DEO said that one should make reading books a habit to update his knowledge. “Reading books make a person wiser and increases his ability to understand the world with an open outlook. It makes people to be open to new ideas and increase a person’s thinking ability. Particularly, teachers, students and all those literates must make book reading a habit,” Somi Reddy said. 

The exhibition will continue for 10 days from November 5 to 15. Interested readers can avail books of various publications like Nava chentana, Vishalandra, Emmesco, Navaratna Roopa, IBD, Pustak Mahal etc. 

The exhibition also displayed books from leading writers like Sri Sri Dasharadhi, Alwarswamy, Kaloji and also has books from Balasahityam, science, personality development, dictionaries and other books related to children and students. “We are providing books on 10 per cent discount to all our customers. Children, book readers and admirers are welcome to this exhibition.

Particularly for students, literary scholars and librarians should utilise this opportunity,” said Mohan Reddy, chairman of Nava Chetana Book House, the main organizer of the exhibition. AITUC Mahabubnagar secretary Rammohan and others from CPI party and officials from Education department participated in the programme.
