Help on hand for scared dogs

Trimulgherry: If you find your dog in a terrified state this Diwali, do not fret. ‘Work for Animals’ an organization that works on animal safety, helps treat animals. Aanchal Khanna, a member says, “We find injured dogs and rescue them.”

There are 122 members who spread across the city.  Recalling an incident last year, Aanchal   said, “A dog that met with an accident was brutally beaten by a watchman. We rescued the dog and later gave it anti-rabies vaccine. The animals are very sensitive and during Diwali they get disoriented. Once we stop bursting crackers, we can see the difference.
