Telangana Junior Doctors Association slams issue of certificates to RMPs

Update: 2018-11-06 05:30 IST

Hyderabad: Telangana Junior Doctors Association (JUDA) has condemned minister K T Rama Rao remarks.  KTR had said that they would issue certificates for RMPs. This statement has not gone down well with JUDA. They questioned what would be the purpose of their studying MBBS and doing MD/MS /DM/MCh if unqualified persons can treat people and also get certificates.

"Did we not fight for Telangana?" asked Dr P S Vijayender. JUDA asked how many new hospitals did the government construct and provide basic facilities in them to provide health services to underprivileged and marginalised rural population of Telangana State. They reminded that the High Court had directed the State government to establish 100 PHCs and 50 CHCs. But, the government did not pay any heed to its directive.

If the government and the minister had any concern about public health they should improve the facilities in government sector, they stressed. TJUDA requested the minister not to make graduate and post graduate medical students jobless for their political gains.
