Telangana will celebrate next Diwali under Congress rule: Uttam

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday claimed the people in Telangana would celebrate the next Diwali festival under the Congress rule.

Greeting the people of Telangana State on the eve of Diwali, Uttam Kumar Reddy said  UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi granted statehood for Telangana to make the 60-year-old dream into a reality. However, he said, the TRS government failed to fulfil the aspirations of people of Telangana.

Uttam said no section of the society was satisfied with the performance of the TRS government and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has pushed the four crore people of Telangana into darkness. He said the dictatorial and arrogant rule of Chandrashekar Rao would end in the next few days. 

The victory of Congress party in next Assembly elections would bring back the light and joy in the lives of people of Telangana State, he said.
