30 students donate blood for Area Hospital
Kothagudem: Blood donation camp was conducted by the Vasudha Foundation here in the Kshatriya Satram on Thursday at Bhadrahalam. The blood camp was inaugurated by Vasudha Foundation district convenor V Srinivas Raju.
Addressing the gathering, Raju explained Vasudha Foundation aims and objectives and elaborated its services in the Agency area. He said in the Agency villages the patients suffer due to lack of blood in blood banks of the area hospital, so we conducted the camp for the poor patients.
The foundation distributed 30,000 notebooks in all government schools in the Agency. In addition, merit scholarships and health services were also provided by the organisation, he added. Nearly 30 students donated blood to the Government Area Hospital on Thursday.
Vasudha Foundation members Satya, Venu Raju and students representatives Teja, Ramesh, and Area Hospital doctors and others attended the programme. Later, the foundation convenor V Srinivas Raju distributed fruits and juice to the blood donors.
