Collector M Hanuamantha Rao urges poll staff to perform well

Sangareddy: District Collector M Hanuamantha Rao exhorted all the election related teams to perform their duties effectively. He was speaking at the meeting with members of expenses monitoring and media certification & monitoring committees (MCMC) at collectorate mini conference hall on Thursday.  He said that expenditure observers would reach the district on October 12. He instructed them to be cautious and alert while observing expenses of various parties. Details of all the permissions taken through Suvidha should be sent to expenditure team, he said. 

He urged all the teams to be fully geared up before the nominations. He asked them to maintain a separate register for enrolling details about seizures and be updated on daily basis. MCMC team then reviewed paid news, advertisements, tariff rates, cable channel news, LED publicity and prior permissions taken for ads of candidates. He advised the team to keenly observe paid news from different perspectives. He said that candidates should take prior permission from MCMC team for publicity through cable channels and LED. 

Then, nodal officer of MCMC, Ramesh Babu provided the details of cash and liquor seized in the district. The Collector advised them to provide the information related to cash seized to associate expenditure observers as soon as they were caught. Among those participated in the meeting were joint collector Nikhitha, master trainer Vijay Kumar, DCO Prasad, MCMC members K Mallikarjun Reddy, B Srinivas, associate expenditure observers and others
