Police set to ensure smooth polls

Siddipet: Hyderabad Inspector General of Police (west zone) N Stephen Ravindra, along with Nizamabad DIG N Shiva Shankar Reddy and Siddipet Police commissioner D Joel Davis, on Thursday reviewed election arrangements in the district. 

Speaking on the occasion, Davis said that they are taking all precautionary steps to ensure peaceful conduct of elections without any untoward incidents. He informed the IG that they are bracing for any clashes at sensitive and normal polling stations in the district.
