TRS candidates to get B-Forms on November 11
Hyderabad: Caretaker Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrashekar Rao will hand over the B-Forms to party candidates on November 11.
The political heat is going to increase from Sunday with the TRS president set to restart his campaign. According to party sources, the TRS chief would address a meeting of the party workers in Gajwel Assembly constituency on the same day.
He would address the meeting at 12 noon near his Farm House at Eravelli. The meeting is likely to take two to three hours where the caretaker Chief Minister would interact with the booth level activists of the party. About 15,000 party workers are expected to attend the meeting.
Later in the afternoon, the Chief Minister would address the party candidates at Telangana Bhavan. The meeting would be held at 4 pm and all the candidates who have been given tickets are asked to attend the meeting.
The candidates would be administered oath by the TRS chief and they would also be given necessary instructions on how to go ahead in the campaign as they would have to face opposition leaders, sources said.
A TRS leader said, “Until now it was an open ground (khula maidan) for the TRS candidates as they were campaigning alone but from next week onwards the campaign will heat up with Opposition party candidates getting into election mode. Our sir will assist the candidates on the approach to be adopted during campaign.” Sources also said that the TRS chief is likely to announce candidates for remaining 12 constituencies.
The party has till now announced candidates for 107 constituencies including announcing of 105 on September 6. Sources said that the party’s manifesto is also likely to be released by the TRS chief. Chandrashekar Rao had released partial manifesto recently making several announcements like loan waiver, increasing pension money, allowances for unemployed youth and others.
The Manifesto Committee led by TRS Parliamentary Party leader K Keshava Rao has completed the draft and is waiting for the clearance from the party president, said the TRS leader.
