TRS cheated people of Telangana: CPM

Bhadrachalam: What did the TRS government gave to the people during its four year tenure, questioned CPM State secretary Thammineni Veera Bhadram on Monday while addressing a public meeting in Bhadrachalam on Sunday. 

CPM candidate from Bhadrachalam Dr. Midiam Babu Rao filed his nomination on Monday and organised a public meeting and road show in the temple town which was addressed by the party leaders who criticised the ruling party for neglecting the people during its rule.

CPM leader Bhardram said the TRS government only cheated the people of the State during the last four years. “The TRS party leaders are speaking of Bangaru Telanganna…Bangaru Telanganna in every meeting…  but where is the Bangaru Telangana…?   It is only witnessed in their speeches,” he said. 

The people of the Telangana had hoped that their lives would change to better after the creation of Telangana State but are now disappointed as they suffered many problems in the new State, Thammineni added.

The TRS government’s encouragement to the private hospitals and education institutes is badly affected the education system in the State. People are suffering because there is no healthcare facility in villages, he said.    

Thamiineni promised that the BLF will play a key role in the state. He said the party will focus on health and education of children belonging to poor families.

He also said that giving the input subsidy and bheema facilities are not changing lives of the farmers. When the government gives the best price to the farm produce automatically the farmers’ lives will change, he added.

Thamminenei criticised the State and the Central governments’ claim of developmental works. He asked, ”where is the jobs for youth?  Both the governments created no jobs.”

He said, only one party in the state and country fights against governments for people issues that is CPM.  A rally was conducted by CPM party in the temple town on Monday He said see how the party is ruling in Kerala.  He appealed to the consistency people to give big support to the party candidate in the elections.

Former MLAs Kunja Bojji, Sunnam Rajaiah, CPM Assembly candidate and former MP Dr. Midiam Baabu Rao,  leaders of the party Bandaru Ravi Kumar, Sudharshan, AJ Ramesh, M Venkateswarlu,  M Renuka,  Brahma Chary, MB Narsa Reddy, B Venkat Reddy, B Sarath Babau, Chilakamma and others attended the meeting.

Before meeting a road show conducted by the party leaders.  The tribal traditional dances drew people’s attention.  A large number of party workers and leaders attended the meeting.
