Mock polling conducted at Makkarajpeta

​Medak: Students of ZPH School, Makkajipeta, in Chegunta mandal conducted a mock poll as part of a voter awareness programme on Tuesday. Siddipet District Collector Krishna Bhaskar appreciated the students for conducting the programme. 

Later, he interacted with the students and asked them about various aspects of voting machines. He suggested to Chegunta Tahasildar Manohar Chakravarthi to conduct similar voter awareness programmes at other schools of the mandal. On the occasion, an awareness session on functioning of EVMs and VVPATs was conducted by the election staff of the mandal.
