Inflict crushing defeat on Mahakutami: KTR
Sattupalli: TRS nominee Pidamarthi Ravi will win from Sattupalli constituency with bumper majority, said caretaker Minister for Information Technology K T Rama Rao on Wednesday.
The caretaker Minister along with caretaker Minister for Roads and Buildigns Tummala Nageswara Rao, MP Ponguelti Srinivas Reddy, MLC Balasani Lakshminarayana and DCCB Chairman Muvva Vijay Babu was participatin in poll campaign in Sattupalli constituency.
After participating in a road show, Rama Rao, speaking at a meeting organised on the occasion, said Ravi is one of the close associates of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Ravi actively participated in separate Telangana agitation.
The development that took place in the State and the welfare schemes that were introduced by the TRS government were appreciated by the people across the country. The residential schools were established by the government to ensure bright future of the children.
The Rythu Bima policy helped build enormous confidence among the farmers across the State. With completion of Sitarama Project, water will be provided from Godavari to Sattupalli.
He warned the people that the vote to the Mahakutami would undermine the development of the State. TDP chief and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was trying to stall the irrigation project, He cited 30 letters written by Naidu to the Centre, requesting the latter to stall many irrigation projects in the State, he said.
“If people want Godavari water to Sattupalli, they must decide whose side they are on, on winning side (TRS ) or with losing side (Mahakutami side) which is trying to deceive the people by forming unholy alliance,” he said.

The TRS nominee, Pidamarthi Ravi, speaking on the occasion said that enormous development took place in the constituency in past four and half years under the reign of TRS government. With the initiation taken by Rama Rao, Rs 35 crore was sanctioned for the development and beautification of Sattuapalli constituency.
