Congress slams KCR
Mancherial: Former MLC and Congress candidate Kokkirala Premsagar Rao came down heavily on caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for claiming credit for achieving separate Telangana while speaking at a public meeting in Mancheiral on Thursday.
Premsagar Rao said that it was the students, who played an important role in separate Telangana movement and it was Congress, who granted a separate State.
It was Congress, which sowed the seeds of Telangana and ploughed the field while Telangana Rashtra Samiti harvested the crop, he stated and stated that KCR promise of providing 12 per cent reservation to Muslims was just a drama.
Rao said Congress is committed to safeguard the interests of minorities and backward classes. If came to power, Congress will establish a sub-plan exclusively for the welfare of Minorities and BCs, he assured.
The people of the country are eagerly waiting for the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and the youth will be benefited during Congress rule only, he said and urged the people to take a vow to remain united and elect the Congress. Party leaders Borlakunta Venkatesh Neta, INTUC leader Janak Prasad and Prajakutami leaders and activists were present.
