TRS MPs scotch rumours of quitting party
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MPs Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and Seetharam Naik on Thursday denied rumours that they are leaving the party and termed the comments by Congress leaders as mind games.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Mahbubabad MP A Sitaram Naik said that the comments of Congress leader Revanth Reddy were nothing but mind games. “If Revanth Reddy has guts, he should disclose the names of the TRS MPs who are joining the Congress. Revanth Reddy is doing cheap politics and it will not help him in his political growth. Everyone knows how Revanth behaves,” Naik said.
In a press note issued here, Chevella MP K Vishweshwar Reddy said that he had not submitted resignation or any other letter to the party. “The messages on social media indicating my resignation to the TRS party on Thursday are false. I had not submitted my resignation or any other letter to the party.
Further there was news article in media that I was planning to resign. I did not make any such statement and I was misquoted. The press meet on Wednesday was relating to the higher air pollution levels in Tandur town in my constituency,” said Vishweshwar Reddy.
