Auto drivers resent cops overaction

Amberpet: Auto drivers staged their protest against police restrictions here on Friday. About 130 families of auto drivers live in and around Amberpet, and there is only one auto stand in the area at Sriramana signal. Recently, police have issued a notice saying that not more than six autos be parked in the auto stand. Traffic police have been issuing challans against auto drivers for over parking of autos. The drivers lamented that their families would lose their livelihood if the auto stand is removed.
