CPI urges people to end TRS misrule

Karimnagar: CPI State Council secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, who is the Mahakutami candidate from Husnabad, here on Friday, urged the people to vote out the TRS government.

The Congress party senior leader and former MLA Bomma Venkateswarlu, AICC member Bomma Sriram Chakravarthy and Backward Classes district unit president Baswaraj Shankar extended their support to Venkat Reddy.

Speaking to the media, Venkat Reddy said Mahakutami was formed to end misrule of KCR and and vote for Kutami for all-round development of Telangana State.

As part of grand alliance, Husnabad seat has been allotted to the CPI party. The TDP and TJS leaders and their cadre already started the elections campaign in support the CPI candidature. 

Vekateshwarlu said Venkat Reddy was trying to get in touch with Congress leader Algireddy Praveen Reddy, but the latter could not be contacted. Venkat Reddy himself went to his house and met him and sought his support.

CPI leaders Komatireddy Ramgopal Reddy, Manda Pavan, Gade Swamy and K Jayapal were present.
