TD, TRS leaders join Congress

Quthbullapur: Former Telugu Desam coroprator Bitta Pratyushi and TRS leader Gade Vinod along with their 1,000 followers including youth, joined the Congress here on on Friday in the presence of the party’s Quthbullapur constituency candidate Kuna Srisailam Goud. He welcomed them into the party-fold by offering ‘kanduvas.’ The newcomers to the Congress party said they had switched loyalties because of the TRS government’s ‘anti-people’s policies. 

They alleged that the State government had done nothing worthwhile for the region. Goud urged them to ensure his victory in the ensuing elections as the candidate of ‘Praja Kutami,’ and promised them he would develop the constituency. Among those present were Gade Vinod, Peddi Raju, Krishna, Harish Goud, Anjaneyulu, Venkatesh, Batta Narsimha, Cherayya, P Ramchandar, Abdul Haleem, Akbar, N Raju and N Srinu.
