Update: 2018-11-17 05:30 IST

Mahbubnagar: Justifying formation of Mahakutami by Congress and other opposition parties together to throw away the autocratic government of KCR, Dr Mallu Ravi, MLA candidate from Jadcherla constituency said that all sections of society in the State feel that they have been deceived by TRS chief KCR as he has miserably failed to implement his promises he had made during the 2014 Assembly elections.

“All sections of people, be it SC, STs, minorities and the BCs all sections feel deceived by the KCR government. KCR had promised to provide 12 per cent reservation to STs and minorities, but could not implement it. He promised to provide free education from KG-to-PG but not a single step has been taken towards this end.

His Rs. 1 lakh loan waiver was also not implemented properly. The double bedroom scheme is nowhere, as not a single person in the villages got it. So we are taking all these failures of this government to the people and exposing its double standards,” said Mallu Ravi, during an exclusive interview with the Hans India.

The Congress leader said that the people and poor farmers who had lost lands under irrigation projects will be provided adequate compensation of Rs 15 lakh per acre by implementing GO 2013. In addition, he also promised to implement the Congress manifesto of providing Rs 2 lakh loan waiver to farmers, Rs 5 lakh for double bedrooms under Indiramma Illu programme and would rescue the unemployed youth by providing Rs 3,000 a month unemployment allowance.

He also promised that if voted to power as Jadcherla MLA he would ensure that all the Dwakra women groups will be provided with Rs 1 lakh and ensure interest free loans up to Rs 10 lakh to each group.

Leveling allegations against the current MLA Dr C. Laxma Reddy, Mallu Ravi said that Laxma Reddy was busy with his real-estate business during the past 3 years since 2015 and he had come to Jadcherla just 6 moths back only eyeing votes. He has miserably failed in getting any major projects to Jadcherla.

“Jadcherla is an ideal place for setting up of a dry port. Already 800 acres of land is acquired for that near the pharma SEZ. But until now he has never got the approval from the government. If voted to power my priority to would be to bring dry port to Jadcherla and provide employment to 10,000 youth in the constituency,” said Mallu.

Adding further, Mallu also said that he would give priority to bring in a medical college, engineering college, one ITI college to each mandal 3-4 intermediate colleges, a women degree college and a government polytechnic college to Jadcherla constituency.
