Withdraw wife’s ticket: Kavitha tells Uttam
Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP Kavitha on Friday said that settlers in Hyderabad will vote for the TRS. She exuded confidence that the TRS will win the mandate by getting more than 100 Assembly seats in the elections.
Despite TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu giving Kukatpally ticket to Harikrishna’s daughter Suhasini, it will not have any adverse impact on the winning chances of the ruling party. The settlers and others will vote for TRS for development and get their issues resolved, she added.
In an informal chat with media at Telangana Bhavan, Kavitha slammed Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy for alleging that the TRS imposed dynastic rule. She also criticised Uttam for indulging in dynastic rule by getting one ticket for his wife.
“The Congress was known for dynastic or family rule and not the TRS”, she roared and asked Uttam to prove his values by making his wife withdraw the ticket.
The Congress is caught in the mire of controversy as some leaders like Renuka Chowdhary, Ponnala Lakshmaiah and others are fuming for denial of tickets. She accused the Congress of showing affection to settlers in the name of elections and offered a ticket to Kusuma Kumar.
