EC appoints Antony Dev Kumar as police observer

​Hyderabad: In view of the Telangana Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed a police observer, Antony Dev Kumar, an IPS officer from Uttar Pradesh cadre (Mobile: 63099 99456). Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar welcomed him on Monday. The city police chief made a detailed presentation before the election observer. 

All city-based officers of the rank of DCP and above were introduced to him during the meeting. He looks for efficient and effective management of the electoral process at the field level. Public representatives, political party leaders and general public may visit the police observer and share any election related information and suggestions and file complainants to him. He will be available at police officers’ mess at Masab Tank and the visiting hours are from 9 am to 10 am every day.
