Defeat TRS which sent farmers to jail: Nama Nageswara Rao
Khammam: TDP candidate of Khammam Assembly seat and former MP Nama Nageswara Rao on Tuesday said that the TRS government betrayed all sections of people especially the farming community in the State.
The farmers who were arrested during the reign of TRS government for demanding minimum support price(MSP) for their produce, Nama Nageswara Rao at his camp office in Khammam and extended their support to him.
Speaking on the occasion, the farmers promised Nama that they would strive hard for his victory by defeating the TRS party which arrested them using its political power slapping illegal cases and sent them to jail.
The farmers told Nama that they faced a lot of problems along with their family members and faced punishment for not doing anything. “TDP leader Nama Nageswara Rao supported us at that time and had given us moral support and fought against the government for their sake until justice is done,” they said.
Nama said that any government which goes against the farming sector will not survive. The TRS government sent the farmers to the jail for demanding MSP for their produce. It is the time that all the farmers in the State must teach the TRS party a fitting lesson in the ensuing Assembly elections.
The Praja Kutami is committed to the welfare of the farming sector. It is ready to waive off Rs 2 lakh farm loans as soon as it comes to power in addition to providing financial assistance for cultivating various crops and bringing out various reforms in every sector, he assured. He expressed thanks to the farmers for coming forward to extend their support to Mahakutami candidates.
