Implement code of conduct strictly

Khammam: District R V Karnan on Tuesday ordered the officials concerned to implement the Model Code of Conduct strictly in the district. The Collector chaired a special meeting with the MCC nodal officials, Assistant Expenditure Observers and members of the Accounting Team at Pragna Conference Hall in Khammam.

The contestants who took prior permission must conduct election campaigns and meetings as per the prescribed time .Campaigning must not be done in surrounding areas of the temples, churches and mosques and the meetings must not be organised in the name of caste, religion and associations which will fall under violation of election code, added the Collector.
