Karimnagar: BJP believes that the development of a nation depends on women empowerment, hence sanctioning interest-free loans to enable the women to develop financially and helping their families to live comfortable life, stated Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP candidate for Karimnagar Assembly constituency.

He campaigned in Saptagiri Colony and Mankamma Thota of 45th Division here on Thursday. He said that it is the BJP government, which is paying 75 paisa interest for the loans sanctioned for the women of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and working hard to uplift the weaker sections.

Whereas the TRS government is paying only 25 paisa interest for SHG loans and the balance amount is paid by Narendra Modi-led BJP government, he added.

Many women of SHGs, irrespective of caste and religion, established self-employment units by obtaining interest-free loans and leading a happy life. The credit for this goes to the BJP government, which always aims to uplift the downtrodden sections. People must think wisely and must vote for BJP candidates for the all-round development of the State, he suggested.

Sanjay Kumar appealed to the people to vote for him and give him a bumper majority in the coming Assembly elections. BJP leaders K Odelu, S Mallesham, M Vaman Pradeep Reddy, Praveen, Banda Ramana Reddy, M Janardhan, Akshay, K Chandra Shekar, Anand, Shabarinath, G Ramesh, Sai Kiran, Vijay, Sahitya, Purna and others were present.
