Heritage expo held at Gitanjali School

Kukatpally: To protect and preserve ancient Indian traditions, culture and practices and provide scientific reason behind several ancient traditional practices, Gitanjali IIT Olympic School held a ‘Heritage Expo-2018’ on their school premises at VV Nagar, Kukatpally, on Sunday. There were stalls with presentations on entertainment, ancient games, Indian mythologies, benefits of Yoga and other ancient health practices, jewellery etc. 

P Srinivas Rao, chairman of the group, said that such programmes would increase awareness on Indian culture and traditions among children. Rajya Lakshmi, academic director of the school, appreciated the efforts of the school principal Gayathri in gathering ancient objects and organising the expo.
