Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister K T Rama Rao on Monday said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government cleared all the doubts raised on the law and order situation by maintaining the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb in the State.

The Minister was speaking in a meeting of minorities at Telangana Bhavan where several Sikh community leaders joined the TRS. He said that Sikhs have sacrificed for the country and continue to sacrifice. “Doubts were raised before Telangana formation that there would be law and order problems if separate State is carved out. The Telangana State is number one in the country in terms of maintaining law and order. We see human beings as human beings and do not give respect as per the religion,” said Rao. He recalled that the TRS gave the mayor’s seat to a Sikh leader in Karimnagar.

The Minister said that the government would construct Nanded type Gurudwara in Hyderabad. He said that it was sure that Chandrashekar Rao would be Chief Minister again and the welfare activities would be continuing for all the sections. He said that once the Kaleshwaram project completes, the Telangana State would surpass Punjab in agriculture produce. “Telangana is a four-year-old child and KCR was taking care of the State,” he said.

The Minister further said that the double bedroom houses in the city would be completed by May. The opposition parties have no guts to face the Chief Minister and hence they were coming in the form of an alliance, he added.
