TRS pursuing path of progress: Padma Rao
Secunderabad: Secunderabad TRS candidate T Padma Rao Goud campaigned in various colonies of Adda Gutta division on Monday. Interacting with people, he said that the people of Secunderabad made many sacrifices during the Telangana agitation, and that the state was achieved as result of their role in the continuous struggle. TRS government treaded the path of development, he said.
The party is well aware of various issues of the constituency and is working hard to address them based on public needs, he added. During the campaign, he was given a warm welcome in many colonies in a traditional manner. Leaders of other parties too joined TRS party in the presence of the TRS candidate. He said that the TRS government has been successful in giving 24-hour power, and the state no longer suffers from power cuts. Being aware of the basic needs of poor and destitute, the TRS government introduced several welfare schemes, he said and added that the construction of Thukaram Road under Bridge (RUB) would be completed soon.
Explaining the development works completed in the constituency, he said that the government college was established and the construction of a multi-purpose function hall and Setwin Bhavan were in the final stage. He promised to construct a function hall at Adda Gutta and to address sewerage issues soon after elections. Adda Gutta division TDP president Gopalapuram Muralidhar joined the TRS party, along with his several followers and TDP workers. Padma Rao Goud held padayatra in Thukaram Gate, Subhash Statue, Old Municipal Quarters, Konda Reddy Nagar, Venkat Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Indira Lakshmi Nagar, and other areas in the Adda Gutta division.
