Jagtial: The TRS will win the elections with high majority and will form the government again, stated the caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He participated in Praja Ashirwada Sabha at Jagtial, Korutla, Choppadandi and Dharmapuri Assembly segments.

Speaking at the TRS Praja Ashirwada Sabha at Mote Road in Jagtial on Monday, KCR requested the public to vote for their candidate Sanjay Kumar. Thousands of people from the four Assembly segments participated in the meeting and gave a grand welcome to the TRS chief KCR.

Addressing the massive gathering, KCR said that the fight is between TRS and the Mahakutami of Congress and TDP. There is no need to think about other parties, he added. ‘Development and welfare schemes should not be stopped at any cost, they must continue.’

Saying that both the Congress and TDP governments ruled for more than 58 years, he asked the voters to think how the power supply situation during their rule and now during their (TRS) rule. “They (Congress and TDP leaders) boast themselves as intellectuals. If they are really intellectuals, then why they failed to provide 24-hour power supply? he questioned.

The TRS government during its four-and-half year rule had taken up several developmental works and led the Jagtial district towards development by implementing the manifesto 100 per cent, he said.

By giving 24 hours power supply, the TRS government proved former Chief Minister K Kiran Kumar Reddy’s allegations that people will live in dark if separate Telangana State was formed, he stated. The Congress and TDP governments never bothered about farmers’ problems, but the TRS government understanding farmers’ problems, introduced Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima schemes for their wellbeing along with extending helping hand to the people belonging to Yadav and fisherman communities by introducing special schemes for them.

After coming to power, the TRS government will sanction a medical college to Jagtial district and will make Korutla Metpalli and Korutla separate revenue divisions along with implementing special schemes for SC and STs.

Unable to defeat the TRS individually, both Congress and TDP formed a grand alliance unethically. KCR told the people not to forget that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu tried to stall the developmental works in Telangana and said it is the responsibility of the people to give a fitting lesson to the Mahakutami, which is trying to create hurdles in the development of Telangana.

The TRS chief requested the people to think wisely and must vote for TRS candidates along with playing a key role in their victory in coming up Assembly elections.

Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, MLC Bhanu Prasad Rao, Jagtial TRS candidate Dr Sanjay Kumar, Korutla TRS candidate Vidyasagar Rao, Choppadandi TRS candidate Ravi Shankar, Dharmapuri TRS candidate Koppula Eshwar and ZP Chairperson Tula Uma were present along with others.
