Anand Prasad condemns attacks on party workers

Serilinagampally: TDP candidate Venigalla Anand Prasad alleged that their party workers are being attacked by the ruling party as they fear defeat in the ensuing elections. He was speaking during the flagging off of a bike rally at Tara Nagar on Wednesday. The bike rally passed through Papireddy nagar, Gachibowli, Gopinagar, Surabhi Nagar, Sriram Nagar, Decent Colony, and Indira Nagar.  Apart from the rally, the party workers of the alliance partners of People Front are carrying out extensive campaigns across the constituency. Earlier, Anand Prasad offered special prayers at Tulja Bhavani Temple at Tara Nagar and flagged off the bike rally. He also inaugurated the party campaign office at Tara Nagar and paid tributes to the party founder NTR. He participated in the rally on party publicity vehicle and addressed people. 

Anand Prasad said that he was sure to win the seat given the tremendous public response. Unable to digest the overwhelming support to the party, the ruling party is indulging in violence against TDP party activists, he allged. In spite of being a top revenue earner, Serilingampally constituency had been allocated only limited funds for its development, he alleged. He ridiculed the tall claims of TRS party of allocating thousands of crores for the constituency.  He said that the people would teach a lesson to those who had jumped to other parties from TDP. Describing the constituency as a stronghold of the party, he said that the party was sure to win the seat. State youth Congress vice-president Ravi Kumar Yadav, Vinod Rao, TDP leaders Uriti Venkat Rao, CPI leader Srisailam Goud and others participated in the rally.
