Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took a broadside at his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao for the delay in completion of Metro Rail project and other infrastructure development programmes in Greater Hyderabad.

Participating in a road show in Sanathnagar Assembly segment in Greater Hyderabad limits here, the Telugu Desam chief said that KCR and his son and Information Technology  Minister KT Rama Rao have done nothing to promote Hyderabad as a destination for investments and a global city. Most of the infrastructure developed in the city was taken up by him only, he said, adding that the BJP-led NDA also did nothing for the promotion of Hyderabad.

Naidu reiterated that the Congress and the TDP joined hands only to dethrone the BJP at the Centre as Prime Minister Narendra Modi destabilised the institutions, mainly RBI, CBI, Enforcement Directorate etc. AICC president Rahul Gandhi exhorted people to give a big mandate to the People’s Front in the ensuing Telangana elections and put an end to the KCR’s family rule.
