Quthbullapur: AP Labour Minister Pithani Satyanarayana campaigned on Thursday in 30 colonies here in support of the People’s Front candidate Kuna Srisailam Goud. He launched the campaign from Modi Builders and toured Chintal, Ganesh Nagar, Maniknagar and Kalpana Society, urging voters to vote for Srisailam Goud on December 7.

Pithani said he was taking up canvassing as per the instructions from AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He said all TDP leaders should extend their support to PF to enable the party come to power and to end the ‘dictatorial rule’ of caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He stressed that Goud would be available to all.

The minister wanted voters to teach a lesson to KCR for the deletion of 26 BC communities from the list, and noting that the Congress manifesto had promised to include them in the list. He appealed to them to ensure Goud’s victory with a big majority. Goud also continued to secure support from leaders of other parties on Thursday. Former TDP corporator Batta Balakrishna’s son, Venkatesh, along with 500 followers, backed Kuna, after taking out a huge rally.
