Kaghaznagar: Dejected for not getting the due importance at different forums of the TRS, former TRS MLA Kaveti Sammaiah and his wife and former Municipal Chairperson Saileela resigned for the party.

Sammaiah won as Sirpur constituency MLA on TRS ticket and was defeated by Koneru Konappa in 2014 elections. He was depressed for not getting ticket in 2018 elections and for depriving due recognition after Konappa, who won in 2014 elections with BSP ticket, joined the TRS. He didn’t get importance even during KCR’s meeting.

At the press meet, Sammaiah said that he left the party as he didn’t get the due respect and recognition after all he did for the party. Sammaiah followers also not happy as he was overlooked by not giving proper position in the party even though he participated in Telangana movement and enjoys good public support in his constituency.

Now heated discussions are going on in the area as to which party Sammaiah will support?  The dramatic and sudden exit of Kaveti Sammaiah, who has considerable following in the TRS, will have a bearing on the outcome of the current election results and will dent the TRS vote bank.
