Kuna Srisailam briskly covers colonies
Quthbullapur: National CPI secretary K Narayana and former minister Kondru Murali on Friday campaigned in Jagadgirugutta division of this constituency in support of the People’s Front (PF) candidate Kuna Srisailam Goud.
Addressing roadside meetings, Narayana called upon voters to ensure a big victory for Goud over TRS nominee who joined the party from TDP, thus teaching him a fitting lesson. He stressed the need for people to topple caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who opted for early elections after failing to ensure a proper governance. His comments against CM caused a stir among the residents. Among those present were TDP leaders Burgubavi Hanumanth Rao, Kolanu Hanmanth Reddy, Syed Rasheed, Mizra Rashid Baig, Congress leaders Krishna Goud, Anji Reddy, division president Malla Reddy, former CPI councilor Varma and many women.
Goud along with constituency in-charge Burgubavi Hanmanth Rao took up campaigning in Raghavendranagar of 132 division. During his tour in Boudhanagar area Goud received unanimous support of the local welfare association committee. In Kuna Mahalakshminagar of 126 division, TRS leader Mahankali and Ayodhya Rajaka Sangham leaders of Budevi Hills joined the Congress Party in the presence of Goud. Goud met Muslim voters of Rodamistrynagar A&B, and appealed to them to vote for him. Accompanied by Hanmanth Reddy and State Youth Congress activist Kuna Srinivas, he toured Markandeyanagar, Nehrunagar, Sanjaygandhinagar, Kalavathinagar, APIIC Colony, Sivalayanagar. Kolanu sought a huge majority for Goud.
